Miso Orthodontic Studio uses CBCT 3D imaging, an intraoral scanner, and a 3D printer.
In one sentence
Our studio is equipped with CBCT, an intraoral scanner, and a 3D printer, alongside the panoramic X-ray and clinical photos taken at your first visit.
CBCT (3D imaging)
CBCT is a 3D imaging scan. A low-dose CBCT is taken for every new patient at the consultation. For adult palate expansion (MARPE), a 3D CBCT scan is part of your complete records.
Intraoral scanner
An intraoral scanner takes a digital 3D scan of your teeth. For MARPE, we overlay your intraoral scan on your CBCT to find the best areas of bone for the mini-screws.
3D printer
Our studio also has a 3D printer.
At your first visit
Your first visit includes a panoramic X-ray, a full set of clinical photos, and a patient health questionnaire. Consultations are free.
