MARPE and other palatal expanders
MARPE (mini-implant assisted rapid palatal expansion) widens the upper jaw in adults by anchoring the expander to bone rather than to teeth alone.

Functional appliances for children
Functional appliances are offered for children, alongside early (Phase I) and interceptive treatment.

It depends on your goals and on what Dr. Song finds at your consultation. He’ll explain what he finds and what your options are.
Which clear aligner systems do you offer?
We offer Invisalign and Angel Aligners.
Will I still need braces or clear aligners with MARPE?
Yes. MARPE is always used together with braces or clear aligners and can’t be done on its own. MARPE widens your jaw, and braces or aligners are what shift your teeth into the new jaw size and coordinate your upper and lower jaws so they fit together properly. That’s why comprehensive orthodontic treatment is part of every MARPE plan.
